Goode Motor wall exhibit
Coming into their one hundredth year of business operations, southern Idaho car dealer group Goode Motor wanted to commemorate the achievement with a dedicated wall exhibit in their newly-constructed headquarters. Wanting to display the company’s century of history through a timeline, a lot of moving parts needed to be identified and organized. My approach was pretty direct: to establish different layers to compose the layout. After configuring the background artwork set in those very vintage sepia tones, I started by making sure milestone year plaques popped with the corporate blue and metallic silver, plus snazzy one inch stand-offs for extra depth definition—so everyone who visits can admire these special markers even from afar. An eye-catching composition was created, combining simple black-framed featured photographs with printed silver metallic vinyl descriptions underneath alongside the milestone year plaques. The glossy vinyl for the company logo and timeline arrow above the plaques and photos provided the perfect finish of contrast to complete this polished look against the warm, matte backdrop.
